“L’arte, messa in opera, deve solo omaggiare l’eccellenza.”
Paleocrio’s work is the result of a complex synthesis between symbolism, living matter and tradition, to be understood in the most esoteric and intimate way.
In hermetic symbolism, as in pure figurative art, the search for detail becomes a characterizing fact.
The constant impulse towards “endless spaces” has extended his pictorial research – which has become melted, bound and “blent” with the motifs of a certain oriental mannerism and the symbolisms of the European initiatory traditions – to a space where finally every transcendence finds its crudest, simplest and most noble equivalent: the raw material.
The raw material is the long silver line that leads directly from the soul to the work of art.
